From the moment We landed in Haridwar & Rishikesh, I was enchanted by its lush landscapes, vibrant culture, and welcoming people. Join me as I share my week-long adventure in this tropical paradise, packed with tips and recommendations to help you plan your own trip.

Day1:

We arrived at Haridwar station at 10:30 AM after a long journey, having spent a full day and night on the train. Exhausted, we left the station and took a Tuk-Tuk to our destination in Haridwar, also known as Dev Bhoomi. Our first stop was a local restaurant where we enjoyed a meal before checking into our hotel. Once settled in our rooms, we took some much-needed rest. In the evening, we attended the Ganga Aarti and explored the local market, thus concluding the first day of our trip

Day2 :

We woke up at 6:00 AM and went for a bath at the Ganga Ghat. Although the water was cold enough to make me shiver, it was my first time bathing in the open air, and the experience was truly outstanding. After participating in the Ganga Aarti, we left Haridwar and began our journey to Rishikesh.

Rishikesh is approximately 150 km from Haridwar. During the journey, I marveled at the beautiful parks, mountains, rivers, and more. Upon arrival, Rishikesh genuinely felt like a film set, as it was the most beautiful place I had ever visited. Our next stop was Shantikunj. Entering Shantikunj felt like stepping into a dream, with gardens everywhere. We explored the area, took numerous photos, and enjoyed a Bhandara (free meal).

Next, we visited Laxman Jhula, a suspension bridge that constantly sways. There, I had the opportunity to speak with many foreigners for the first time in my life. They made me feel very welcome, and the experience was genuinely enjoyable.

Afterward, we did some shopping before leaving Rishikesh and returning to Haridwar

Day3 :

We came to Haridwar because it was the last day of our trip, we took lunch there & left Haridwar, and again came to the same position from where we started our trip which is Haridwar Station
